Nuestra Señora de Luz

Painted en plein air at Nuestra Senora de Luz Church (Our Lady of Light Catholic Church) in Canoncito, New Mexico. My friends and I have painted here before and love the overgrown cemetery in the yard and the way the sunlight lights up the stucco. This little church sits along I-25 northeast of Santa Fe near Pecos. It was built between 1880 and 1881.
