Summertime

Painted from the side of the road at Los Poblanos Farm in Los Ranchos, New Mexico.

It was a glorious summer day in July. Two young girls in chiffon dresses skipped among the lavender while their mother snapped photos. The sunflowers were in full bloom and stood sentry over the rows of plants. A bicyclist stopped to watch me paint and say hello. And several cars honked and waved as they drove by.
