Plein Air Pastel of "Duke" The Horse
Wendy Ahlm
Last month, I was blessed with a visit to my artist friend Elizabeth Cooper’s barn at the Bluebird Workshop and Studios. A group of us met there to paint ‘en plein air.’ To my utter delight, I got to meet three beautiful horses, offer them peppermint treats, and like a cherry on top – paint a real, live, right-in-front-of-me HORSE.
